You look around helplessly. What now? You could try to ask another
fireman, but they're so darn hard to catch, and their answer's really
aren't that helpful. You could also decide to look around some more.
You are pacing nervously, pondering what to do when you step in a
puddle. But when you go to pull your foot out, it won't budge!
"Um..." you begin. The fireman looks up from the small
pocket dictionary he had just pulled out. "Actually, I was
wondering if you could tell me where I am." His mouth opens
slightly and then closes. You can tell he would like to answer your
question but for some reason he can't. "What's the matter?"
you ask. "Sorry," he replies, "you've already asked
your question." With that, he runs off.
