"Hey, Qui-Gon," you whisper, not wanting to be overheard by
Jevelin. "Why don't you go up and talk to him? Maybe he'll
remember you and become your friend again, like in that one movie,
Star Wars, or something like that."
Qui-Gon smiles at you, and whispers back: "You are to be a fine
Jedi, combining the important skills of knowledge of when it is or is
not nessessary to fight, and putting others before yourself."
Actually, you just didn't want to get killed.
Qui-Gon puts down his lightsaber and steps forward to Jevelin.
Jevelin stops moving, but Qui-Gon keeps moving closer and closer to
him. It was dramatic.
"Kennith, oh, Kennith, don't you remeber me? I am Qui-Gon, and
we were the bestest of friends back in Jedi Training. Don't you
remeber?" Qui-Gon says, hope in his eyes.
"Yes, yes Qui-Gon, I do remember you! You were that shrimpy kid
who always beat me in Jedi stuff. I remember now! I hated you!
Phew, for a second there I didn't know if even I had the heart to kill
someone I didn't know, but now that you have enlightened me, I
will!" says Jevelin. Then he kills Qui-Gon and turns on
you.
Jevelin comes closer and closer, and you see an expression in
Qui-Gon's face that tells you he wants to delay battle as much as he
can. After all, they have been friends for years. Suddenly, you get
an idea.
