You stare at the white beast, who gives you a glance that clearly says
"Calm down". Then it suddenly turns red, morphs, twists, and
shrinks, until you find yourself staring at a girl with short,
wine-red hair who is wearing a long, rust-colored Japanese kimono.
"Just because we're sisters doesn't mean you can jump to
conclusions, Rain."
Rain rolls her eyes, then makes her whip vanish into the air. She uses
more blue lines to make an iron cage shaped rather like a phone booth
around you, and before you can run out and protest, the door swings
shut. Carefully you try to push it open while ignoring the extreme
panic in the back of your mind - there's no padlock, but now you can't
even tell that there was a door there in the first place.
"You are way too trusting, Water." Rain says, rather
affectionately. "The kid stays locked up until we figure out what
to do about this."
"Really!" The unicorn sniffs, making you jump six feet into
the air, "I would prefer not being referred to as 'my unicorn',
you know. The stranger is perfectly fine and not about to steal
me."
