You are in a dirty town full of poor people. They are crowded in the
streets around a royal procession. You push your way forward and see
two elephants pulling a carriage decorated with silk hangings,
fanciful designs of birds and beasts done in gold and rubies. Sitting
inside it is a beautifully dressed man, with his head in his hands,
weeping. The procession stops near a field at the edge of town. The
beautifully dressed man gets out of his carriage, rubs his eyes, and
announces that this is the spot where the beautiful Nur Jahan will be
buried.
