drink the water
Suddenly the water erupts into a shimmering fountain. Then it is
still. Puzzled, you try again. The same thing happens. Convinced you
won't get a drink that way, you gaze into the pools depths. suddenly,
you think you see a face flickering across the surface of the pool.
Just my head, you think, but you don't really think so.
Suddenly, you hear a whisper. "Come," it says, "come to
the pool of immortality."
You feel drawn to the pool. Suddenly, you turn and flee the building.
Once out on the street, you wonder what you should do. You could go
into the wooden building, but it looks as though it might fall down if
you even touched. Your only other choice is to go down the alley, ut
which way should you go?
You are thirsty, so you bend over and try to scoop some up with your
cupped hands.
