Chapter 6
" What the ....? you think. You pick up one of the fossils. It
stops glowing in your hand, but its still warm.
" I don't think you'll mind if I took this as my pay." you
say to the sleeping overseer. He snores louder. You quickly put your
pokeballs and the fossil into your bookbag and dive out of the window.
You land in the bushes. You take out a pokeball from your backpack and
toss it down.
" Zapdos,Zapdos!!" the pokemon cries out. " All right
Zapdos," you say to it." Take care of the
searchlights!" Zapdos quickly flies over to the main searchlight
and does a thunderbolt. The thunderbolt hits the main searchlight and
sets off a chain reaction that shuts down all the other searchlights.
"Zapdos return!" you tell it. It obediently goes back in its
pokeball.
" Now, your turn Rhydon!" you say as jog to the electric
fence. You release Rhydon from its pokeball.
"Rhydon!" it grunts. " Use your Ram attack to break
down this fence!" you tell it. Rhydon wastes no time. he smashes
through the fence like a rocket. " Good Job," you praise it
as you suck it back into it's pokeball. You step through the broken
fence.
" You're up Arcanine." you tell your third pokemon as you
release it. " Distract the Growlithe and lead them away until I
make it to those woods over there." you point to the woods.
" Aaarrooo" Arcanine howls in reply as it lopes over to the
nearest Growlithe.
You watch him for a minute then sprint across the clearing to the
woods in the distance. When you finally make it, you are out of breath
and panting. " Boy, am I out of shape!" you think as you
slump against a tree to wait for your Arcanine to come
back.
You cautiosly make your way towards the fossil pile.
