ask the penguin for a raise
These stilts could come in handy, you realize. They could allow you
walk high, avoiding the dangerous fire men on the ground. They would
allow you to see farther because of your higher vantage point.
However, you have never used stilts before, and you fall to the ground
and bruise your butt every time you try.
Oh well, you can always use them as makeshift lances
instead.

asked for a raise, since you don't really have a job. Unable to bestow
a larger paycheck upon you, the penguin gives you a pair of stilts.
