Clefairy jumps up and down happily. So does Oddish.
"All right, let's go," says Katy. "Just one thing
though. Have you got a map?"
"Clefairy ate it."
"All right, then we'll just run until we get somewhere."
So you run and run and run with Clefairy in your backpack until you
hit a river. Katy sees it in time and stops. While you're wondering
why she stopped, you fall in the river yourself. Something pushes you
to safety, but not before you see something at the bottom of this deep
river. It's just a lot of movement, but you can tell it's probably a
lot of Pokemon too.
Clefairy and you come up soaking wet, and Clefairy's a little upset.
So are you, until you see that your rescuer is a happy-looking
Squirtle. "Squirtle!" it yells happily.
"Hi," you say, pulling yourself onto the shore. Squirtle
does the same. "Do you want a Pokemon battle?"
It shakes its head.
"OK, you want me to train you?"
It nods this time. Then it looks at you like, "I know where
there's a lot of other Pokemon too, and I can take you to
them!"
"OK, we can do that."
