Chapter VI
At one point in time, Stitch had seen a yellow flash of color right outside the window. He had gone to investigate, but had seen nothing. He supposed it was just his imagination.

Morning came quickly. Lilo was the first one down to breakfast, followed shortly after by a very groggy Stitch.
Pleakley--a skinny, one-eyed alien who claimed to be an Earth expert--was making breakfast for them.
"Where's Nani?" asked Lilo.
"She had to go to work early," Pleakley replied.
Lilo frowned. "Like always."
At that very moment, Pwing was in mid-air. There was nothing wrong with the gravity, nor was she flying. Instead, she had jumped down the stairs. Unfortunetly, she had jumped from the top of the stairs, which is not a very good place to jump, even for super-powered aliens. She landed in a heap and a crash at the bottom of the stairs, then limped into the kitchen.
Everyone was shocked and surprised. Pwing had never done anything so desperate and stupid before!
"Why'd you do that?" asked Lilo.
"Do what?" muttered Pwing, then said, "Bad news, gang. I was talking to Jumba just now, and he said that he had been monitoring the house in case there was a break-in."
"And?" questioned Pleakley.
Pwing shook herself (no one knows why, not even Pwing) and replied, "No, but we almost did. Kaian was standing just outside our window in the middle of the night."
Stitch gasped. "Stitch saw him!" he said.
Pwing continued, "But did you see the most important part? Kaian's teeth were covered in Experiment blood."
There was a stunned silence shortly after she spoke those words. Everyone knew what this meant: somewhere, there was a wounded and possibly dead Experiment.
