The boy speaks
"Yes, I do." You reply almost instantly.
"Well,then,let's begin."
The boy turns the page. On the next page, you see a picture of
yourself. Only in this picture, you have long, red-brown hair, and
you are wearing a light blue tunic. Your name is Dew.
Another picture appears on the page. It is a stout elfin woman with
black hair. This is Eli, your mother. Your father, a tall, blond
man, appears beside her. His name is Telos.
More pictures appear. Panda, your best friend. Mica, your younger
sister.
"These people were all killed by an evil wizard who hates the elf
people," the boy interrupts you.
"So was I. I, Sanaris, was the first killed. I lived on as a
ghost, and saved you by transporting you to Tyle Sands.
Unfortunately, your memory was wiped in the process," the boy
continues.
Suddenly you hate that wizard so much.
"The name of the wizard is Grumi. He wiped out your home, the
Enchanted Forest, and all its inhabitants, except for you." The
boy is still speaking.
You turn the page. A wooden cordial on a cord is lying on the next
page. The boy disappears into the cordial.
"Wear the cordial around your neck," he calls out.
"I will always be here to help you."
You put on the cordial and start your quest to avenge your
people!
The elfin boy looks at you curiously. Fearfully, you take a step
back. "Do not be afraid," says the boy. "I am but a
ghost, a memory, a shadow.
This book, which I am guarding, is a book that tells the past,
present, and future. Do you want to know about your past?"
