"Does it really matter?" you ask, as you switch yours on as
well. Strangely, yours too glows with the same vibrant red color as
Obi-Wan's.
"Actually, it does matter," says Obi-Wan softly, with a
touch of fear in his voice. "My father used to tell me tales of
the Dark Jedi. He said that they always used the red blade rather than
other colors. He said it instilled fear in their opponents, and built
up an evil rage inside theirselves. This rage was drawn from the Dark
Side of the Force, and once you experienced it once, there was no
turning back. You would remain on the Dark Side forever."
"Do you think whoever captured us is going to attempt to turn us
into Dark Jedi, then?"
"That's what it seems like to me," replied Obi-Wan.
"If we escape, we'll have to use our lightsabers though. They'd
be foolish to have no guards."
Should you wait for another chance to escape, or use the Dark Jedi
light sabers to escape now? The choice is
yours...
"This won't be to hard. We can cut the walls down," remarks
Obi-Wan, and with a flick of his wrist he switches the lightsaber on.
With a screeching 'weeeooww' the deadly red blade of light comes to
life. "Hey! This isn't mine!" he protests. "Mine was
blue!"
