You listen to make sure nobody's coming, then rush silently to the
door. You put your ear on the door, but you can't hear anything. The
door is locked.
"Okay, switch your lightsaber on. There may be a guard on the
other side, and we need to cut the door down, anyway," you
breathe softly. "On the count of three... one... two...
three!!!"
Simultaneously you both flip the switch, and two brilliant blue blades
extend, ripping through the door as though it were paper. A guard on
the other side lets out a startled yelp and reaches for his blaster.
He is too late, however, and is cut down instantly.
Suddenly Obi Wan falls to the ground, stunned. He buries his pale face
in his hands and begins to sob.
"What's wrong, Obi?"
After a few seconds he raises his tear-stained face and says, "We
killed a man. A living human being, just like us. He's dead." he
lets his head drop again and chokes back more tears.
"We had to, Obi Wan. He would have killed us.He was evil.
Corrupt. He worked for those creatures who captured us."
"But... ohhh, let's just go on, and try to stay away from people.
Obi Wan shudders and turns away at the sight of the guard's body lying
on the floor. He gets up shakily , and both of you continue walking,
more wary now after your encounter.
Suddenly a booming voice surrounds you! "HAWHAHAHAHAHHHHH! You'll
never defeat me, children. I am Darth Ranconi, First Dark Lord of
Sith! I have a secret that has enabled me to survive eons! Ohhhh,
everyone thought I was dead, but I lived on, skulking here on this
remote planet, Zebithrope IV, and I will never be defeated! DIE!!!!
The ground begins to rumble, and with a thunderous clap the walls
crumble! In the midst of the rising dust you can see A gigantic
black-caped collosus! He brandishes an eight-foot-long lightsaber. You
and Obi Wan turn and flee. Miraculously, you see an old Alliance
Dreadnought starship, with it's ramp extended. It's only about 25 feet
away from you, if you can make it in time!
"Let's go this way," you whisper to Obi Wan, motioning
towards the door. "And be quiet about it. We don't want anyone to
know we've escaped."
