Looping the Lima-Bat
"How do you play?" she asks. A smile forms over her
face as the little bubus flies up on your shoulder.
"All you gots ta do is take a ring-thingy and throw it at
the Lima-Bat!" he says, wings flapping.
"Lima-Bat?" you say. You remember your mom's
lima-beans. You think your gonna be very sick.
"That thingy," says Fizzle, pointing up in the tree. A
little thing sits there like a bird. It looks like a giant
lima-bean with leathery wings, talons and fangs. It has eyes
with red puples.
"Here are the ring-thingies," Fizzle says calmly. He
hands you and Kerri some things that look like snakes who tried
to swallow their tales. They ARE snakes that swallowed their
tales!!!
"Well here goes nothing," you say. You throw a
ring-thingy at the Lima-Bat. Bang! The ring-thingy hit it right
on the nose (well, where the nose would be if it had one)!
The Lima-Bat swoops down at you. You know it's gona try to bite
you. 'SWOOP'! The thing turns and heads for Fizzle!
"Help!" skreeches Fizzle as the Lima-Bat picks him up
with his talons and flies away.
You have to save your new-found friend!
I knows! Loop the Lima-Bat!" says Fizzle. You look over at
Kerri who just shrugs and walks over to Fizzle.
