"You mean you remember nothing?" he says in
disbelief.
You nod.
"That's not strictly true," he says. "You
still remember how to speak perfect
colloquial Zenic."
"Oh. So I do," you say.
"And there are other things you remember. Like
how to walk and how to behave in strange situations
and so forth. It's just your personal details
that are missing."
"Well," you say, "I would like to find out who
I am and why I'm here."
You explain to him briefly everything you know
up to this point, a life a full five minutes
long, as far as your memory is concerned.
