You take the gloves.
After you realize that the figure that looked like a woman, is long
gone, you know there’s
no way to look for her. Setting the gloves on a table, you search the
museum some more.
When you get back to the table, you find that one of the gloves is
gone! After looking
around, you discover that the thief only stole one of the gloves.
You head back to the
office to finger-print the red glove. While walking back to the
office you realize that
maybe the person who stole the glove is the same person who stole the
diamond. While
holding tight to the glove in your pocket, you quicken your pace.
When you cross the
street you absentmindedly hear a screeching sound. It sounds like a
car, but it must be
your imagination. Then it gets louder, and you turn as a red car
comes hurling towards.
Gathering yourself just in time to dodge it, you get a good look at
the driver. Was it a
man or a woman?.......
