Getting even
Next door there lives a dog named Ralph. Ralph is a mutt, a lively
mutt. Often I sneak next door to look for some cheese. I love
cheese, but the owner of the house I live in does not eat it. Anyway,
whenever I go next door, I see Ralph there always chasing something.
He has a lot of energy. I thought to myself, "What a wonderful
idea to lead the cat over to Ralph's house. All I'd have to do is
walk near the cat, and I know he'll begin to chase me. I'll dash out
of the house and run next door. Of course I'll let the cat think he's
almost caught me because when he does almost catch me, he belts out a
loud, "MEOW." That will signal Ralph that a cat is nearby.
Oh, will that cat get his! I can't wait.
I decided that this cat needs to be taught a lesson. The cat has been
chasing me for days, and I haven't been able to have any peace. I
decided that this cat needs to know what it is like to be chased.
