You decide to go to your room.
"Suit yourself, chickens!" Barbara tells you. "I'm
looking around for myself!" She heads into the hole without you.
You and Dave head towards the stairs.
"I hope she's okay," Dave says. Just as you reach the top of
the stairs, Dave trips over something. "What was that?" he
asks. Looking down, you see that it is a scarlet cord, leading down
the hallway.
"What in the world?" you ask. "Where does this
lead?"
After a few moments, you and Dave decide against following Barbara
into the little spooky crawlspace. "No thanks," you whisper
to her. "We're heading upstairs."
