"I am no prince! I have no clue to what you are talking
about!" you shout at her. Her face is still calm as she waits for
you to cool down.
"I know this is hard for you to accept, but this is true. Years
ago there was an assassination attempt on the royal family. All was
slain but one, a cousin of the king. She was your mother. Upon her
discovery of her being alive, we hid her from the land of Fanwell in
fear that the attempt might be made again. A regiment was in place to
fool the assassins that they had suceeded. But years after this, we
lost all contact with her. And with that all hopes of having the true
royal family in rule of Fanwell. During this abesence, the regiment
was passed down through the family of the first chosen. Through the
years their family became corrupt. They began to practice the black
arts. When finally they had gone to far into depths of sorcery, evil
sorcery! And now all of Fanwell will be doomed! This is why we have
come in search for your mother. But instead we found you, my lord.
Only the true king of Fanwell can stop this corruption and put an end
to all of this! You must believe in who you are! You must or all of
Fanwell is lost!"
Now completely lost, you stare blankly at her. You think back to your
childhood. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. You come to the
conclusion that she must be lieing in a desperate attempt to save her
people.
"You are mistaken! I do not even look elven!" She then
handed you a small mirror. You peer into the mirror, and you see
indeed, that you have a small part of elven features, narrow face,
slightly pointed ears, and arched eyebrows. Astonished you stare at
her.
"Young prince,I have plenty more to convince you that you are who
I say that you are. Come with me." She then walked soundlessly
towards the door. Blankly you stare after her. Almost convinced but
still skeptical to her claim, you follow after her.
"You must not know who you are young prince! You are the young
prince of Fanwell. We have been seaching for you for years!"
Confusion sweeps through you now as you stare at her wordlessly.
