thinking about what to do next
"Is the castle really that haunted?" Dave asks.
"That's what my uncle says." you replied.
Looking unsure, Dave tries to make up his mind about something.
"It can't be haunted." he says. "I'm not afraid to
find out. And if it isn't haunted, just think what the other kids
will think. We'll be so brave."
"I don't know Dave. My uncle doesn't lie. At least I don't
think he does."
"So," Dave asks, "what do you think?"
You and Dave look at each other and shrug. Barbara is out of sight.
