Leave the door alone
Not sure what the light is you decide you would rather try the other
door in the other hallway first. You walk the length of the long hall
then open the door carefully. When it is halfway open you hear a
strange noise, almost like someone is crying. You aren't sure what to
do. If someone is crying then you would want to happen. But if you
mistook the sound for something else...
