I survived?
Suddenly everything turns blue except Res, who turns into a Res-shaped
orange blob. You can see more orange blobs in varying sizes. You were
a test pilot for long enough before this time-traveling scheme to know
you are seeing with heat vision. And as suddenly as it had come, it
turns off and the dust clouds reappeared, though they seem to have
retreated a little.
Then your hearing returns and you here Res say "Hurry, we don't
have much time before the building collapses and we're trapped. I
found the way out while you were knocked out. That's just like the
robots to sending in walking bombs. Are you even listening?" He
said quickly, "I am now. Let's go." You follow him, cheat
death twice, and just make it out.
There is dust and shattered metal fragments all around you. You can't
see anything beyond the dust clouds. You can see your friend Res next
to you clearly shouting for your attention yet you can't hear him.
