go down the alley and look for the man
Should you go down that street, or the other, safer
street?
You sneak down the alley and look around for the man but you don't
see him. You walk a little farther where there are two streets. They
are just ordinary streets but you can not shake off the feeling that
there is something strange about them. As you peer down each one you
see something moving on the street near the beach but with your
nearsighted eyes you can not tell what it is.
