You decide to run back to the woman in the cape. She stares at you
with her ghostly eyes and signals you to come towards her. You walk
cautiously and slowly to her. Suddenly she pounces on you like a
leopard. You twist and you turn, but the strange woman’s strength was
immense.
“Let go of me, what have I ever done to you?” you ask. She glares at
you with her dull eyes.
“What have you ever done to me? Don’t play games with me, I know what
you did last week!” she screams. You glance at her in awe. You try to
remember what you did last week, but you can hardly remember what you
did yesterday!
“What did I do last week?” you ask curiously.
“What did you do? You made me broke by burning my entire house! And,
you nearly killed my son!” she bursts into tears.
“Are you mad? How can a sweet and lovable boy like me burn your
house?” you question.
“Am I mad? You are the mad one! How can you say that you’re lovable,
when you almost killed my son?” she was really getting angry now, so
you decide to apologies.
“Well I’m sorry for what ever I did, but I’m still not sure what
you’re talking about,” you cross your fingers hoping that she will
accept your apology.
“Sorry? Do you think sorry will satisfy me?” oh no! She IS mad. You
decide to try an escape.
“Can you please let go of my collar?” you plead. She reluctantly
releases her grip on your collar. As quick as a flash, you sprint
towards the horizon. You look back hoping that she doesn’t follow.
Unfortunately, she does. Once again, you feel short stabbing pains in
your chest and legs.
“Come on legs! My life’s depending on you!” you try to ignore the
discomfort. But within a few minutes, she was no more than a metre
away. In panic, you look around for weapon on the dusty ground. From
the corner of your eye, you see a metal pole. You grab it, and you
turn to face the insane woman. You swing the pole at her but she
manages to dodge it. You swing the pole again, but it only slices the
air. She laughs and draws out a sword from her cloak
“Put down that pole!” she demands. You do what she says. “Did you
think that you could get away? Now you shall pay for what you have
done!”
“You won’t!” you choke out.
“Why won’t I? What makes you think that? After all you’ve done, you
deserve to die!” she was really seriously now.
“Please, let me go,” you ask politely. You close your eyes. “I can
promise that you will never see me again,”
“If I let you go, you will make other people suffer!” you fell the
tip of the sword pierce your skin lightly on the neck...
