all I could do way gasp for breath in the misty thick air around me.
They kept yelling and then suddenly I was being pulled up, by a large
man in a black hat.
"Get up laddy, you are not injured." I quietly sighed, in
the relief that someone had finally thought to help me. The man had an
accent of some sort but I couldn't quite tell what.
"What do you need me to do?" I asked. Well, you might as
well make the most of time travel!?
"I need you to do back and get Wilson. He has been hit." I
knew exactly what I had to do straight away. I ran to man lying on the
ground, he had thick scarlet blood pouring out of his temple.
"Wilson, stay with me!" I felt a sudden sense of belonging
pumping through me. Wilson was tying to breath. "Take it easy,
don't worry yourself. It's going to be fine." I carefully wrapped
my muddy brown jacket around his head. I was a hero! The blood was
blocked in it's path, and Wilson's breath started to ease. I hurriedly
threw him over my shoulder in panic as I heard firings close by.
That's when it hit me. Literally....
