You fall into the moat
HOW DID I KNOW ABOUT THE SAPPHIRE? HOW DID I KNOW THAT MY FATHER IS IN
THE CASTLE? Your head spins as you try to figure out how you knew all
this. As you try to shift your hand and get a better grip, your hand
slips on a patch of slippery moss and you fall towards the moat. As
you splash into the frigid water you hear cries as the knights above
you shoot arrows randomly into the water. A black arrow grazes your
arm and your lung scream for air. As you start to rise towards the
surface you spot a speck of ivory. It is one of the magical dice! You
reach down and grab at it but it slips through your fingers. You try
and get it before it falls to the bottom again but your lungs are
bursting and you are forced to rise to the
surface.
