Tell him you want to explore outside
The knight smiles. He does not seem surprised at your request.
"I see. You do realize it is a strange and dangerous land. I can
not be responsible for your mis-adventures, nor will I be able to
rescue you if you need help."
"I realize that, but I still want to explore out there."
"Very well." The knight turns to Mrs. Cook and tells her.
"Please bring John here." Turning back to you he says
"John is a good fellow. When he is older he will be my squire. As
it is, he knows these lands like the back of his hand. He will be your
guide tomorrow."
A young boy runs into the room. "You called, my lord."
"Yes, John. Tomorrow you will take this young lady and show her
the land."
"Yes sir, I will."
You smile at them both, thanking them for their kind thoughts and
deeds. Following Mrs. Cook, you go to your room and prepare for bed.
As you drift off to sleep, you smile as you think of the adventures
you'll have tomorrow.
"Yes" you reply. "I would like to explore outside if I
may."
