You hurry inside and try to forget about the mists. You soon meet Mrs.
Cook, a motherly looking woman with a pleasant face. She has prepared
a wonderful meal and you eagerly begin to eat. You and the knight are
soon engaged in conversation, exchanging childhood stories and
laughing with each other. While talking about the knight's duties he
mentions: "I won't be here tomorrow. My lord has called me to
duty in another country. You are welcome to stay here and rest. My
servants will take care of you. When you are ready to continue your
journey, I will have two of my men escort you to wherever you want to
go."
