"You have the Crystal, it is yours to command! Beware as it often
escapes its owners when not looking or occupied with the thrills it
can bring. I wish you well for it served me for many years and I deem
it to be yours, now go and be careful!" said the man as I walked
slowly backward up the alley keeping a watchful eye on this strange
man.
Soon I am running down the long dark alley. My feet splash in puddles
along the way but I care not as only to find my way to wherever?
At long last tired and out of breath I fall to my knees and sit there
huffing and puffing. A look back is as dark and dank as the view
ahead. It saddens me to sit and wonder who I am, and where I am? The
crystal hung about my neck may offer the answer but how can one ask a
crystal?
Suddenly from out of nowhere comes a suggestion into my brain.
"Run, run like the wind, be proud and hearty of body and
soul!" the words make me wonder as if urging me to respond, but
what should I say?
If I could run like the wind, be proud of myself and none the less be
sound of body too one would need to be a horse!
What's a horse, be it animal, mineral, or something, pray tell what is
it to be a horse, I wonder?
Out of breath, tired, and confused do I sit on my knees in that alley.
The thought of being other than what I am makes me shiver of the
thrill but why this one can not say!
Hand on crystal, mind wondering, I beg and ask for to be a
horse!
Turning to see him my first thought is to run. He speaks to me in a
low and soft tone which makes me calm and for some odd reason trust
him.
