Meldibar
Breaking off a blank, glassy stare,you look up at Meldibar without
really seeing him. Somehow what you have just experienced doesn't fit
with the small village..
"I'm fine. Really, I am," you assure Meldibar. After a
minor fuss, he still looks at you doubtfully, but you manage to
persuade him into starting out on the journey.
"I'll be better just as soon as I get home." That's what you
tell Meldibar, but inside, you're really not too
sure.
"Are you coming? We have a long way to tread...Elf, are you all
right?"
