Jane
As you turn around to point at the cabin a woman steps out & yells
"Roberta you get back in here & clean these supper dishes or
your pa will here about this when he gets home".
You turn suddenly to Mr. Ingles & beg "Please can I go with
you,? I know my name is Jane, I don't know how I got here, or who
Roberta is, or that woman & I sure don't want to know what Pa will
do when he gets home, please sir, I'll be no trouble??"
Pa thinks for a minute & looks at Ma & the boys than says
"are ye a hard worker?" You say "yes sir I can
be", "Well then jump on up hyere sos we can get a move on
afore this wagon train leaves us in the dust, we've still got about
half a days ride until the next little spot where we can rest up for
the night"
You jump in the wagon & think to yourself "I am so glad to be
going somewhere with these nice folks" although you have no idear
where you're going or how you got here.
"Actually, I'm Jane, I seem to have lost all my hair. I don't
know how since I just woke up on the floor in that house over
there".
