You look into the face of Qui-Gon.
When you come to you find yourself lying on a bed in Qui-Gon's house.
You notice how quite it is and wonder where he is. You find him
outside the house in great thought. "Master," you asks,
"is everything alright?" "There is a disturbance in the
force, young Padawan. It is very strong but try as I might I don't
understand what it is telling me." "Is it good or bad
master?", you ask. "That's what wrong. I don't know. But I
will not concentrate on that now. There are more important things to
think about. Do you know what today is?" "No." you say.
"Today is the day of the Jedi Tournament. And I am going to
prepaere you for it so you will be ready for it." You listen to
ever word he says. "Now follow me and do everything I do.",
he says. He gives you the singnal to geat ready to attack and you
stand ready to block whatever move he makes.
The training goes on fine for a while untill a strange things happen.
Qui-Gon slowly disvolves and before you, to your horror, stands before
you the hooded man that attacked you at the Jedi Temple and who killed
Lucas on the way to Qui-Gon's house. You cry out in anger and start
attacking to him, you don't get very far. He locks a cold stare on you
and you feel intense pain in your whole body. A Jedi mind trick! You
try to overcome it but it is to much, you feel yourself growing weaker
and weaker and you fall to the ground. No, you say to yourself, I
can't let him win,and slowly get up again. "Not finshed
yet?", says the hooded man. "No."you tell him and start
attacking him again. Again he knocks you to the ground. You shake your
head to try to get your mind clear and get up to fight him again. He
uses the mind trick again but this time you lock your mind against his
and he begins to show signs of weakness. But you also realize that are
quickly loosing strength too. Trying to hold out a little more you use
the remainer of your srength with good results as you see him fall to
the ground. You stand long enough to stand in victory but suddenly
your knees get weak and you collapse to the ground. You rest awhile
enough to get your strength back and to wait for more instructions
from Qui-Gon. To your surprise you find him lying still on the ground!
What are you going to do?!
With tearfilled eyes you look into the face of Qui-Gon. "Obi-Wan.
Why are you weeping?", he asks with great concern. You gasps when
he calls you Obi-Wan. Why did he call you that? Then you remember that
Obi-Wan made you do something before he died. He must of reincarnated
himself in you! Your are no longer Lucas but Obi-Wan now. Qui-Gon
looks at with you gret concern. "Don't move. You are hurt bad.
Now tell me what happend young Padawan." "Me and Lucas were
on our way to tell you about our graduation when suddenly the same man
that attacked us in the Jedi Temple started to attack us again. For a
while I thought we would surely win untill," you are overcome
with grief again and try to speak but it is hard. "He viloently
thrusts his lightsaber in Lucas and hurts him badly. I wish, I
wish." Suddenly you can't hold it anymore and start to weep
again. Qui-Gon puts his arms around you. You are glad to feel
Qui-Gon's strong arms around you. You put your head against his
shoulder and cry against it. You suddenly the sharp pain in you again
and you scream in pain. The whole world seemes to spin around you and
then suddenly everything goes black.
