One of the soldiers sees you! He says, "Come with me, the work
here is finished." You are scared, so you run away as fast as you
can. You find some trees, so you feel safe there. Suddenly, the ground
seems to fall from beneath you. Everything goes black.
You are awakened by birds singing and the bright sun warming your
body. You wonder how lomg you have been out. Luckily, your time travel
comes complete with a special watch. It tells you the date and year
you are in. Before you were knocked out, it was Friday morning, and
now it is a Sunday morning! You have been asleep for quite awhile! You
decide to look around. You see a road up ahead, so you take it,
thinking that it must lead somewhere. Soon, you realize you are not
alone. A man is following you. You turn to face him, and, to your
utter disbelief and surprise, it is the man that the soldiers
supposedly killed!! You rub your eyes, thinking it is a dream, but you
realize you are wide awake! You feel the same sense of peace you felt
before. The man smiles at you. You run up to him, and he tells you
somthing you will never forget..."I am the Way, the Truth, and
the Life, who ever believes in Me will have eternal life in My
Father's Kingdom" The Man tells you that you must return to your
own time, but the next thing He says is amazing to you. He says,
"I will come with you, and I will never leave." You and the
Man become best friends, and you tell all of your friends about Him.
Some of your friends befriend the Man themselves. You, the Man, and
the Man's friends live happily ever after.
The world seems to whirl around you as you are transported back in
time. You will dizzy and light headed. You land on a grassy field, and
you see a hill up ahead. You climb the hill, and you gasp at what you
see in front of you. A band of soldiers is taking a man up the hill
and nailing him to some sort of wooden cross. You yell at the soldiers
to stop, but, amazingly, the man who is about to be killed says
"No, it will be okay." You watch, and it seems as though the
man is staring straight at you. You feel pity for the man, yet you
also feel a strange sort and peace and calmess.
