Kell's head was starting to nod when she noticed a speck in the
distance, it black and was getting bigger by the second, the moonlight
shone upon it as it ran. The girl stood up wandering what the thing
was when she realized it was, it was a horse bearing a rider. Unlike
many of the strangers that came to Olp, this one haddn't been caught
and killed by bandits, dead from heat stroke, or simply not in the
saddle. No, this one was alive and well, plus very fast. The ridder
soon arrived where Kell was, he quickly got off his horse and took
somthing from the back of the animal, it was a large bundle. When the
man got the bundle he went over to Kell and asked, "Is there
anywhere we can get help?" The man gestured to his burden and she
gasped as she saw the beat up face of a boy, he had short messy black
hair with a drop of crimson liquid emerging from underneath. The boy
had bruises all over and seem to have desert fever as he was sweating
and it was freezing outside. Numbly, Kell nodded and replied in a
hushed voice, "Follow me." They both ran down the hill and
the man overtook her, he ran at a good pace, and seemed to know where
he was going even though Kell hadn't said where her house was. Kell
glanced at the man and saw that he had a gaunt face, rimmed by a black
beard, his eyes were dark and mystifying. At first she wondered if the
boy and him were related, then she thought again and found that the
man did not look the fatherly type at all. Kell glanced at the boy,
whose head was lolling over the man's shoulder. His eyes opened
blearily and he looked at the girl then closed them. His eyes were to
the girl, golden black.
