Investigate The Sound
You try to help, but you yourself fear the monstrous shape looming
over the woman like a tower. You pick up a stone, and you throw it
behind the creature. It turns and howls, and bashes it head against
the wall, thinking something was there. Meanwhile, you dash to the
woman and sweep her up into your arms, and flee into the
darkness.
You decide to find out where the sound's source lies. You move with
haste, but cautiously, into the darkness. In the shadows, all you can
see are shapes, but you can clearly make out the shape of a human
lying on the ground, shrieking in fear. The voice coming from the
human is female, and it's high-pitched, blood-curdling scream is
deafening.
