The other two agree that the left path looks some how more inviting,
but to be honest both directions look equally dark and damp to you.
Barbara grabs the torch of the wall and leads the way down the
corridor, closely followed by you and finally Dave one the end. The
corridor seems to carry on for ages as the three of you continue to
walk.
"Look I can see a door up ahead." Barbara says as she walks
slowly up to a huge wooden door with a big iron handle.
"Do you want to open it then." Dave said rather nervously.
"We'd better, it might be the only way to get out of here."
You say to Barbara, who's hand was already clutching the big handle.
"You two better give me a hand, I won't be able to pull the
handle and hold the torch at the same time." Barbara says as she
hands the torch to Dave who looked rather reluctant to move closer to
the door.
"On three! One...Two...Three." You pull the door with all
you might and suddenly the whole thing collapses open. You fall back
onto the floor and shield your eyes. Coming from inside is a strange
green glow, very bright compared to the torch seemingly coming from
the very walls itself.
