light a match first
You take the box of matches from your pocket and light a match. As
soon as the flame is burning you try to see as much as possible of the
room before you burn your fingers and drop the match.
You see that the walls of the room are covered with bookshelves and
books. There is a thick layer of dust over everything. You also see a
big fireplace. Dave is by the door opposite of the window and Barbara
is right behind you. You have three matches
left.
