Welcome to Double-Edged Sword Academy (DESA.) You have sought
sanctuary with us because your parents have been killed, and now you
will be trained as a courtier to serve our good king Eljeshanai (you
may read more about him in his letters to his subjects.) When you are
on your feet again, you will be given an assignment that will tell of
your gifts as a courtier, but also test your courage and integrity. I
will mentor you to prepare you for the assignment.

name "Meg" here. It is more generic than your real
name--Mairead Marguerite--and will help you stay clear of those who
