"Oh...OK, um, your Highness." You curtsy, but he laughs.
"That's all right; none of that, please! I learned my lesson
about expecting that kind of thing ages ago, and it wasn't much fun.
But listen, I'm only allowed to say so much--Eljeshanai can't have
statues communicating with people too much, you know; would make them
start worshipping artwork or something. You wanna know all about it,
look in the shelf underneath me. There's a letter that explains
it."
With that, Yossel's mouth closes, and you know he's pretty much said
