Worn stone steps take you to the catacombs
When you feel better you go down. At the base of the staircase you
stop and look around you. The chamber, which is more like a cave, is
way taller than those few steps you came down. It should reach all
the way to the top of the house above.
You turn around. There should be stairs there.
There aren't. Standing in front of you is a table, short, with ornate
carvings all over the sides and the legs.
You look up above, sure to at least see the door you came through.
Nope. A glassy eyed statue of a wizard stares almost directly at you.
You trip on the carpet and fall hard. Luckily, you didn't tumble all
the way down. As you sit and recover you can see off in front of you
a huge chamber.
