"THAT'S what you get for kicking me!" You say calmly..
"Kicking you!!? You just tried to turn me in to Shanta, and then
you nearly killed me! And you're worried about me kicking you!!!"
You realize she does have a point. You acted irrationally.
"Well SORRY!" You retort. "I'm not having a
particularly great day either! I've just lost my memory, I have no
food no place to sleep, nothing!"
The elf gives an audible gasp. She seems to have just had an apiphony.
Barely able to control her excitement, she tells you
"Come with me!"

You decide this dumb elf has learned her lesson. You rush over to the
river bank, grab her hand, an yank her out of the water just in time.
The fish in pursuit of her slowly sinks out of sight.
