Decide to Stay and look Around

We decided to stay and look around. After 37 skeletons they started hearing some kind of woman crying, a dog barking, and people walking up above. They still had to go on or else they will be trapped forever. At the end of the dungeon was six hallways leading somewhere. We were looking at each other, wondering which door leads them to the main entrance, where they can leave. They decided to go through the third door. While waliking down the hallway, they see light. They ran as fast as they could to see if they went the right way? What was that light?
