we heard footsteps coming
Dave and I heard footsteps coming, coming after us, I think. We
hid under a pile of wood and a huge lurking figure came through the
chamber. Quickly the footsteps faded away. What were we to do? I
caught a quick little hearing of somebody talking. Who was
it?
