You look down to see it's left front leg, where it bends, so its
elbow, is wrapped tightly with a bandage. "I thought you
coul-" You think out loud, and it interupts "Yes, but my
master decided that the sprained bone needs to heal a little aswell,
which I cannot do. He wrapped it up-tightly, it will take it in, so
the scales and flesh around it stay still, and it can heal." It
says in a calm voice, focusing it's blue eyes forward. You wonder how
long you are going to fly for, and if you will land.
"We can camp, or keep going through the night" It mumbles,
and you try to decide. But some memories are coming back, you have
been here, the Enchanted Forest. But, as you look down, you notice you
are out in the valley again, and the sunlight is turning dim. The two
towers stand, but suddenly one sends out about 50 men, and a few
archers at the back. The other sends out a fleet of horses, somewhere
near 30 archers, 70 knights, and a few men in black clothing.
Ovbiously that tower has more attack, but wait. A dragon emerges from
the distance, but is meters under you. It lands, with a human on its
back, infront of the archers and knights. Oh- thats their weapon. And
2 more arrive, but they are smaller, black and have wings that they
couldn't fly with. Who'd win? You think. Then go back to deciding
wether to camp or not. "No its not the castle I'm going to"
It reads your mind- or it seems to.
You look at the unicorn, who is shaking it's head in surprise. Then
back at the dragon, "Your herd is in the next valley, waiting for
you. It isn't far away, it should take under two minutes" It
explains, and the unicorn gets up. It waits for you, or you think.
Then the dragon crouchs down, motioning for you to climb up it's
foreleg. You do, gripping on at the same time to its scales.
Incredibly soft, the reddish scales start to dull out as the sunlight
is blocked by some of its head. You get onto its back, and just sit-
waiting. The unicorn thanks the dragon and gallops off to where the
herd is. The dragon waits for it to leave, and in a thundery-flap it
is in the sky, climbing up heights. A minute later you are above the
clouds, or, just under them. It is the middle of the day, the sun is
at it's peak.
