Glad to escape
Kerri looks at you again in amazement. "I can't believe what I'm
seeing! How are you doing that?" You promise to explain
everything after she gets on the mattress. She agrees, and jumps onto
the hovering mattress.
You jump onto the mattress behind Kerri, and guide it up away from
Hell. As you magically rise into the mortal world, you explain to
Kerri how it was you came to be ruler of Hell. Kerri stares at you in
bewilderment, not sure whether to believe your tale. But there's no
denying that the two of you are closer than you have ever been before.
As the mattress settles near the site of the shipwreck, Kerri leans
over and gives you a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thank you,"
she breathes. You get off the mattress, and notice some strange
footprints leading towards a path in the nearby woods. You look at
Kerri, and decide to....
"Kerri, what's wrong? Hurry, get on the mattress!" you
plead.
