Ava Meets Knuckles
Sparx was snowboarding in Ice Cap Zone. She had invited her best
friend, Ava Cross to come along. Ava hated the snow, but had gone
anyways. From the top of the hill, Sparx started off, humming a song
that she couldn't get out of her head, "Na na na na na na na na,
yeah, na na na na na..." she continued down the trail. Ava stared
after her friend, then launched off. "Woaaaah!" cried Ava as
she sped down the hill. She managed to gain control, but just as she
was about to catch up to Sparx, she hit a jump. Ava sailed in the air,
flying past Sparx. She looked in front of her, and noticed that she
was headed right for an icy wall...
Ava closed her eyes, waiting for impact. She hit hard, and fell
unconscious to the ground. Knuckles, who just happened to be gliding
over that area of Ice Cap Zone, spotted the unconscious cat, lying
down in the snow. He landed beside her, and examined her injuries. Ava
was alright, just a mild concussion. Knux, figuring that Sparx would
be somewhere nearby, yelled out; "SPARX!!! Come here!" Sparx
heard Knuckles' cry, and glided to where he waited with Ava. Together,
Sparx and Knux brought Ava to her hut.
Ava woke up a few hours later. "What am I doing here?" she
asked. "We were skiing in Ice Cap zone, remember?" asked
Sparx. Ava thought about it for a moment, than replied, "No, I
don't." She then looked at Knuckles, realizing that it was him
who had saved her. She stared dreamily at him...
