Sparx was sitting at her kitchen table eating chili dogs with Ava. Ava
was feeling lonely due to the fact that Knuckles had not yet returned
from his duties."Geez, I never thought that I would be so lonely
without him guarding the Island." said Ava, "Wait a minute,
Sparx, you look a little tired.""I am Ava, from my recent,
and unexpected trip to 'Earth', and Snowy's arrival, I'm pooped."
replied the tired Echidna. Ava grabbed Sparx's wrist, and brought her
outside. "What you need is a day away from it all! Come with me,
and I'll give you the time of your life!!!" Sparx nodded, and
they took off into the Mushroom Hill Zone. All the troubles of the
past day melted away like ice under the Mobian Sun. Once through the
giant mushroom forest, they decided to jump off the edge of the
Floating Island, and into the warm waters below. Once they were in
though, things started to go awry. A huge whirlpool envelopped our
es. "What the?!?!" yelled Sparx. "Aaaargh!!!"
screamed Ava. They went further down into the ocean, then, all of a
sudden, the edges of the whirlpool collapsed in. Then, from a view of
the Floating Island, Archimedes, Knuckles's mentor, looked at the calm
and serene ocean below.
Meanwhile, in an underground lab, a panel in the ceiling opened
ejecting Ava, Sparx, and a whole lotta water. In mere seconds, the
water drained out. Sparx shook herself, and looked around the room. At
one end, stood water proof computer terminals, and at the opposite
end, forcefield cages containing furries were erected. Sparx and Ava
rushed over to the cages, and inspected their contents. Inside the
first was Cerebral the Fox, inside the second were Snowy and Roxy, and
the last contained two unfamiliar hedgehogs. They appeared to be ged.
Sparx reached for the Chaos Emerald that Cerebral had given her. She
tried to open the cages, but couldn't. "We have to shut them down
manually." Ava commented. All of a sudden, the doorway to the lab
opened, and revealed their captor...
An elegant yet evil looking cat stepped into the lab, an evil smirk on
her face. Ava managed to ask a question even though she had many to
ask, "Who are you?". "I am K'Yan weh, and soon, all of
Mobius will be moot!" A look of discust came across Sparx's face,
as she looked at the psychopath,"Why?". "So I can
rebuild my race on the planet that is rightfully ours! And I will be
it's queen!" Sparx suddenly wished that she had her sword with
her. Behind K'Yan weh, the door to the lab remained open...and Sparx
realized that the forcefields containing her friends were held
together by the psycho's magic. K'Yan weh was truly insane.
Simultaneously, Ava and Sparx lunged at her, but K'Yan weh was quick.
Raising her staff, she managed to stab Sparx in the midsection, just
missing the vital organs. The blow sent Sparx flying across the room,
smashing into the forcefields. Fight against the urge to go
unconscious, Sparx managed to get up. Ava had managed to strike K'Yan
weh. Sparx gripped her chaos emerald ly, and launched the worst attack
that she had ever done. Ignoring the searing pain in her side, she
fought against K'Yan weh. Ava joined in, and soon, they brought the
psycho to her knees. "Yow may have won this battle, but I will
win the war!!" cackled K'Yan weh. She dissappeared in a flash of
lightning.##RUMBLE## All of a sudden, they felt the ground beneath
them start to rumble, as the forcefields dissappated! The other
furries started to wake up. All of a sudden Ava yelled, "It's
falling down on us!"...
Fully awake, Roxy asked, "Where are we?". "No time for
explanations, Rox, but all that you need to know is that we have to
get out of here now!!!" A hole in the ceiling erupted, spilling
water on them! A still groggy Cerebral managed to use his telekinetic
powers to create a bubble around the furries, as they escaped. They
soon made it to the surface. Roxy pulled Sparx out of the water so she
could glide. Spar ked up Ava. Roxy picked up Cerebral (much to his
delight!), and Snowy picked up the Hedgehogs. Once on the Floating
Island, the introductions were made by the hedgehogs. The purple one
said "My name is Jackie!", and the green one said "I am
Michael, and we are severley in your debt!" before they
mysteriously dissappeared. Ava, Sparx, Cerebral, Roxy, and Snowy went
to Sparx's hut to have a celebration party. In the air, Sparx said to
Ava, "She's still out there..". "I know, but this time,
we'll be ready for her!" said Ava with a devilish grin.
