A Bird's Life
You look down and see lots of humans. They are "sailing" as
they call it. You see something bright and shiney on the ground. You
swoop down. It has writing on it. You and many other sea gulls are
able to read. You pick it up and fly away to your nest. You put the
thing down and read the writing. It says "Use this coin to be
whatever you want. All you have to do is wish." You bring it to
your mother. "Use it a little later, darling." she says.
"All right, Mother. I'll use it later." You reply. Now
what?
You are a Sea Gull flying high in the sky. You see humans and wish
you were too. Today is not going to be a normal day.
