You run as fast as you can. Without knowing it, you took your regular
route to school. Except for a few people, the streets seemed deserted.
You walk into the building and you remember the book that you have
tucked under your coat. You need a place to go, a place where no one
will think to look for you. You run up the stairs to the attic. You
take the key from the cupboard and put it in the lock; you turn the
key. The door makes a lound noise as you open it, so you open it just
enough for you to get through.
