The light gathered in front of the Quiet Card and became the Language
Card's visible form. It was a little boy who glowed like the sun. He
had on his body a character from every alphabet, a Japanese character
on the center of his forehead. His face was full of tongues, even
coming out of his eyes and ears.
"Well done!" Kero said (he's talking now). "The
Language Card is powerless against the Quiet Card."
The Language Card looked very sad. He signed something to the woman.
In turn, she knelt down and hugged him.
"What's going on?" Madison asked.
"He said he was sorry. These two cards are the only ones who
believe they are like Mother and Son. Ironic, isn't it, since their
powers are like night and day?"
"Yeah, that's sweet."
"Language Card, return to you power confine!" She sealed
the Language Card successfully, and everything returned to normal.
"Glad that's over. Now to find a real
book."
"Quiet!" Sakura cried. The card was released and appeared
in the form of a Southern woman holding a blue fan. Like the
librarian, the woman put her finger to her lips. The room became
completely silent.
