"This." Nurse Johnson holds up an envelope.
"Waht's in there?" asks Rosa.
"Keys--important keys that no student should be allowed access
to," the nurse tells you. "One is the spare to my medicine
cabinet--I keep the other with me at all times. One is the key to the
fire extinguisher cabinet, one is the key to the food storage room in
the basement--all kinds of things."
"You know what these keys look like?" you ask her.
"Yes. I know where they're kept, too--in this envelope, in Ms.
Fishburn's desk. She lets me come in now and then to make sure my
spare key's still in there. But I was searching the classrooms and
found this in Mr. Villani's room, under a student's desk. My key was
gone, as was the one to the fire extinguisher cabinet."
"So you think a student stole them?" you ask.
"Yes--and two more, from the looks of it--there were at least ten
in there, but I counted six."
"OK, so now what should we do?" you
ask.
"What is it, Nurse Johnson?" you ask.
